Honestly, sometimes, we just want to enjoy a simple cheesy love story and the cheesy elements we live in time checkpots come together so well
John Crowley creates a simple and predictable love story, nothing really special, but captures a beautiful presentation with two strong performances from Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh.
With good music, simple dialogues and structure, it still maintains an emotional connection with its viewers as the chemistry and banter between the two leads is watchable and good
Sure, because of its predictable style, it feels a little long with its pace and certain elements may put you to sleep, but overall, Crowley’s direction and Garfield and Pugh’s performances make it work..
